These terms apply to pawmathcalc.com, its calculators, guides and embeddable widgets (the "site"). By using the site you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

1. Information only, not professional advice

The site provides general information and calculators for planning and education. Nothing on the site is veterinary, medical, legal or financial advice, and no professional or advisory relationship is created by using it. Before you buy, sign, build, borrow, file taxes or make any decision about your animal's health, diet, medication or care, check with a licensed veterinarian who knows your pet.

2. Estimates, accuracy and changing information

All results are estimates based on the numbers you enter and on general assumptions. Age, weight, food, dosage, toxicity and due date results are general estimates: individual animals differ, and only a veterinarian can examine your pet. Prices, rates, tax rules, codes and product specifications change over time and differ by location, so information on the site may be incomplete or out of date. We work to keep it accurate but do not guarantee that any result, figure or statement is correct, complete or current.

3. Your responsibility

You are solely responsible for how you use the results and for your decisions. Never give your pet medicine without your veterinarian's advice, and in a possible poisoning or emergency contact a vet immediately instead of relying on a calculator.

4. No warranty

The site and all content are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted or error-free.

5. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the site's owners and operators will not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of money, profits, data or property, arising from or related to your use of (or inability to use) the site or your reliance on any result or content, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability for all claims is limited to one hundred US dollars (US$100). Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of these may not apply to you.

6. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the site's owners and operators from any claims, losses, liabilities and costs (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the site, your reliance on its content or your breach of these terms.

7. Use of the site and widgets

You may use the calculators freely for personal and commercial projects, and you may embed our widgets on your own website using the code we provide, as long as you keep the credit line and do not change the calculator. Widgets are provided under these same terms, and we may change or remove them at any time. You may not copy the site, scrape it at scale, misrepresent its content as your own advice, or attempt to disrupt it.

8. Third-party links and ads

The site displays third-party advertising and may link to other websites. We are not responsible for their content, products or practices, and a link or ad is not an endorsement.

Some links to products are affiliate links. As an Amazon Associate, PawMathCalc earns from qualifying purchases. This does not change the price you pay.

9. Changes and general terms

We may update these terms at any time by posting a new version on this page; continued use means you accept the updated terms. If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. These terms are the entire agreement between you and us about the site.
